Overview

The process of application and release of subsidy under NBM ( National Bamboo Mission)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Promoters from the government sector through their controlIing departments and promoters from the private sector through their financing bank's branches.

Process Flow:

  • Promoters from the goverment sector through their controlIing department and promoters from the private sector     through their financing bank's branches after scrutiny, submit proposaIs to the District Level Bamboo Development Agency
  • District level BDA compile and after primary scrutiny of received proposals, submit to the same to the State level BDA for appraisaI within the Annual Action Plan approved by SLEC and DAC&FW.
  • Project Recommendation Committee of State level BDA after appraisal, sanctions the proposal for release of the advance subsidy to the FI (financing bank’s branches) in the case of the private sector applicants and  to the goverment agency in the same of the government sector. Financing bank’s branches are advised to sanction and release the loans to the private promoters and claim advance subsidy from State level BDA.
  • State leveI BDA compile the sanctioned project Iist and forwards the same to the nationaI leveI for information and/or confirmation of funds.
  • When the project is completed / about to be completed, promoters from the government sector, through their controlling  department  and  promoters from the private sector through their financing banks,  submit  their progress reports and request for Inspection and release of balance subsidy to JIC. The JIC submits it's report  with recommendation to State level BDA for release of final subsidy.
  • After scrutiny of claim and sanction of final subsidy by State level BDA, the final subsidy is released to the concerned agencies.
  • Review of loans sanctioned and release of subsidy under National Bamboo Mission is done by the District level Consultative Committee convened by Lead District Manager and by State LeveI Bankers Committee (SLBC) of the State on a quarterly basis.
  • District leveI BDA constitutes the Joint Inspection Committee comprising officers from FI, District leveI BDA and /or State leveI BDA. State IeveIs BDA compile the sanctioned project list and forwards it to the nationaI IeveI for information and/or confirmation of funds.
